It's Not A Date...But It Is
Nov. 27th, 2010 07:52 am"It's Not A Date...But It Is"
Who: Hesam & Peter
It hadn't been Peter's intention to show off. He didn't think along those terms, despite being an exceptionally attractive young man who often drew errant glances from more than just the opposite sex. When he pulled off his shirt in the locker room, he wasn't trying to recreate the poses of fashion models. Purposefully. It was just hard not to hold himself with confidence. He still thought of himself as a hero after all.
Peter didn't notice if Hesam was staring or not. He was too excited about their 'actual' date which might not even be one. At least it made him smile. Peter was not exactly known for smiling lately. Or for taking time out of his busy New York City patrol schedule to do something human. Like eat.

Date: 2010-11-27 01:10 pm (UTC)At least thinking about work was keeping him from remembering how their last dinner not-date went down. Because he really didn't need those mental images flashing in his mind. Nope, no way.
Not at all was he trying to picture that kiss, put it on loop in his brain.
Mrs Fielding had a mole on her neck with three perfect hairs growing out of it. Oh yeah, he's definitely in control of his body.

Date: 2010-11-27 01:30 pm (UTC)He would probably never know why he was so precious to her growing up. He never asked and she'd certainly never tell him that his entire goal in life had actually been to blow up and skyrocket his brother into the White House.
Ah, the Petrellis. Even their youngest hadn't completely come out unscathed.
Still, Peter was different now than he had been just a week before. He had something else going for him now. Hesam was a friend. Even if Peter could openly admit that he rather liked where it all had been heading the night before.
"When I said Italian," he said, glancing at Hesam through the spray, "I didn't mean pizza yanno?"

Date: 2010-11-27 02:04 pm (UTC)"Pizza is Italian?" he shoots back, acting bewildered.
Peter had always been a bit of a mystery. When it was first announced that a Petrelli was jumping on board, rumors went crazy. There was a lot of talk about Peter's supposed suicide attempt, the reports of Nathan getting shot and miraculously surviving.
When they ran out of girlfriend talk, the other guys often turned to any discussion of Peter. Hesam had lost count of the amount of times he'd defended Peter's name. Problem was, while Peter's suspicious ways was sort of okay by him, the others weren't so fond of it. He trusted Peter enough to just leave the other alone but in a job where team work and trust is paramount, the rest of the staff weren't so easy to let things slide. It ended up being half the reason why he'd signed himself up to be Peter's partner.
Besides, Peter was the easiest to make fun of and he appreciated that in a friend.

Date: 2010-11-27 02:19 pm (UTC)"Yes, well...not anymore I guess. Use to be, now it's bastardized American."
There were reasons for Peter's mysteriousness. It wasn't as if he could just go out and say that he had powers. Power now, really. His father had crippled him. Not that it stopped him from trying to be a hero.
Nothing seemed to.
"Um. I need that back..."

Date: 2010-11-27 02:47 pm (UTC)Unfortunately, not only was it on the floor at Hesam's feet, but another pair of EMTs were just ending their own shift. "Woah! Need privacy?" one joked and Peter glanced over his shoulder, not quite getting it.
"Huh?"

Date: 2010-11-27 02:56 pm (UTC)"Don't worry Jackson, Petrelli is keeping his hands to himself," Hesam called back before shoving his head under the water to drown out a possible reply.
He really didn't need any of the guys once again giving him a rough time for the amount of time he spends with Peter. It would look better if Peter actually joined them out for drinks as a group. Instead it's just him and Peter doing these dinner outings.

Date: 2010-11-27 03:09 pm (UTC)In a man his age, that really wasn't cute anymore.
Snagging his washcloth, Peter headed over to his locker to get changed while Jackson and Oliver laughed it up.
He dressed quickly and yelled over to Hesam that he'd wait outside. Peter left, but the other two men didn't let up. "What's he waiting for you for?"

Date: 2010-11-27 03:43 pm (UTC)He finishes his shower and gets himself dressed, halfheartedly listening to the other two discuss breast implants before he's finally free and able to leave as well.
"Hey, Peter," he calls out pointlessly, nodding at the other in acknowledgement.

Date: 2010-11-27 03:48 pm (UTC)Another walk ahead of them and the restaurant Peter picked out came into view with little white lights adorning the windows and doorway. It was cute.
It was romantic.
It was perfectly suited to Peter. He ordered wine to go with their antipasto, candle light flickering in his eyes as he glanced over the menu. It was hard to tell if this was intentional or not.

Date: 2010-11-27 04:07 pm (UTC)The place looked like it would be better suited for a marriage proposal. He hoped the fact they both weren't all that dressed up would help them look like just friends and nothing more.
"You're ordering for me since you're the expert," he said, not bothering with the menu. Besides, he supposed Peter wanted revenge for the satay incident.
He poured himself out some wine, not much since he wasn't a huge wine drinker, but enough to offer a taste. Peter could pour his own damn wine. And what was with those candles?

Date: 2010-11-27 04:22 pm (UTC)Not that Hesam was an affair..
Peter belted his mind down before he went off in a very wrong direction. "All right, my pick then," he said as the waiter came back around with bread and oil. "How about the family style lasagna and chicken Parmesan?"

Date: 2010-11-28 11:13 am (UTC)It kept playing on his mind though, how ridiculous the two of them might look. If they really did appear to be on a date. Not that this was a date. This was more like a re-run of the last time. Except hopefully less alcohol and less confusing emotions.
Unless it was a date. He gulped down water, a little nervous.

Date: 2010-11-28 01:33 pm (UTC)Picking off pieces of bread to dip nervously into the oil and oregano, Peter realized that the silence was becoming uncomfortable.
"I'm sorry," Peter said, eyebrows scrunching up on his forehead. Ah, the Catholic guilt complex, rearing it's ugly head.

Date: 2010-11-28 01:41 pm (UTC)Trust Peter to be bothered about something weird like that. Unless this was one of those moments where Peter was on a completely different page to him. Highly possible.

Date: 2010-11-28 01:58 pm (UTC)What he really needed was more wine drunk in copious amounts so that he blacked out before he got molesty again.

Date: 2010-11-28 02:19 pm (UTC)Yeah, bad news.
"Yep, about the lasagna," he agreed, offering Hesam another piece of bread. At least he wasn't feeding it to him!

Date: 2010-12-14 11:21 pm (UTC)At the question, he paused, still rolling from the earlier embarassment. "I don't know if I'll back out," he said honestly. There were still a lot of things about this that worried him. Mostly the gay part.
"And I'm going to be weird about it because it's weird."
Peter was so familiar to him. Well, in a way where spending almost every day together stuck in an ambulance became familiar. The Peter persona outside of work was still a mystery to him.
"I want it," he said, almost as if making a decision. He'd already made the choice, this was just him verbalizing it he supposed. Maybe that's all Peter had needed.

Date: 2010-12-14 11:35 pm (UTC)Time number two. In as many days.
This time, Peter pulled his shirt off, over his head, and then moved to do the same to Hesam. He wouldn't argue the logistics of it. Hesam was having more trouble with that aspect than Peter was. Whatever the other man wanted, attention starved Peter would soak up happily!

Date: 2010-12-14 11:42 pm (UTC)Peter already had his fly undone so Hesam moved closer and helped to push his pants down over thighs and knees.
Right. Next step. His own pants.
His hands fumbled at the button and fly, face screwed up in concentration. Something like this shouldn't be so difficult. He was never like this around girls.

Date: 2010-12-15 04:16 am (UTC)There was something a bit scary about that!
Much scarier than having Hesam's darker skin come into contact with his own pale flesh. Peter looked at his fingers as they splayed on Hesam's bicep.
He was damned good looking.

Date: 2010-12-17 12:33 am (UTC)Not that he really knew what they'd be doing.
Crap.
Hesam kissed up Peter's jawline, to his ear, hesitating only briefly before he sucked on the other's earlobe. His teeth tugged the lobe gently while his hands wandered.

Date: 2010-12-24 02:31 am (UTC)That was good too, the puffing breath slipping out heavily. Peter wriggled around, fish on a hook, as his fingers sought a way to bring more flesh to flesh.
He didn't have the sort of issues Hesam was currently having. He didn't overthink, a blessing and a curse, but he did overfeel. And right now that was making him hornier than a high schooler.

Date: 2010-12-31 01:38 am (UTC)There was definitely a disconnect between his mind and body, since as much as he was freaking out internally, his body was having no problems. In fact, after his hand had sought out Peter's cock and wrapped around the length confidently, he was starting to suspect his body was running on autopilot.
His mouth certainly was, whispering all sorts of ridiculous and cheesy sounding things into Peter's ear. He'd be lucky if Peter was actually turned on by any of it.
